The 12th Expeditionary Force launched from Lorus IV after defeating the Starwolf raiders based there. The area was secure, let the ground pounders keep the territory clean.<br><br>The space hulk slingshotted out of orbit and spearheaded into deep space. The Sworders lined up and rested themselves in the between stage. A flash, a sickening twist of the stomach, then a dizzying recalibration that gave a moment to think, then... the troops were on the ground. <br><br>"Damn, I hate this freaking loadout." <br>"Cut that chatter, supply lines will up in a matter of hours. Recon! Star pattern 6, disperse."<br><br>They were the first. Before wars were fought, before bases were built, they stepped on the soil and laid out their defenses. It was like clockwork. The Blood Eagle will vie for this planet within a day. And the race for conquest continued to consume the stars.<br><br>"Sir! We have encountered resistance. Non-tribal, but we are down to blasters." <br><br>An Engineer reports. "Sir, remote stations are now deployed."<br><br>The Blade-leader had a number of choices to make, but in his mind he prioritized and recaptured the advantage. "Deep six, retreat to drop-zone... Calvary, support Recon, 3 heavy 2 light."
