Expanding my Loop (Finally)

Post by Nilk »

Howdy,

When I initially built my current system, I did so with the thought of expanding the water cooling using hard line tubing.

I've got the parts on the way and I'm updating the information here!

I may get around to doing water cooling someday. Or not. :) What's the line made of, just stiff plastic?

Acrylic? I thought that needed something hotter than a heat gun to shape, but guess not. :)

Finally done with the hardline installation. I still have quite a bit more to do before I'm up and running, but figured it was time for an update!

Pretty.

I'm working on an FX-8350 build for 2016 that will scream. I'm expecting that by the time I upgrade again, the Zen architecture shouldve gotten cheaper.

I ran a 8.5 hour Intel XTU stress test last night and between the 6 cores, the highest temp was 54 degrees. GPUs are running around 30, but will be stress testing them soon. Should be getting the UV dye next week.

Though, fun question...any idea how to pH test orange fluid?

Grabbed the one with the calibration solution, otherwise perfect. Thanks!
