Relive the glory!

So, for the 20th anniversary of Earthsiege (which eventually became Tribes), HiRez has set up a download site (with links to patches for T2)

I downloaded all of them up to Vengeance, even the ones I can still find disks for. Y'know, just in case. :)

Nilk, what error are you seeing? They changed the launcher a few months ago and there is a fix for it.

no error at all, it just says "tribes.exe" has stopped working.

So i realized that there was a hi-rez folder in program files x86 and went for an uninstall of the game to try and fix, but instead of just deleting somehow almost all of the files were deleted in the directory...so i'm going to try from scratch.

The game hasn't worked for me in months and months at this point, though the system itself was already a permanent clean install.

That's awesome! I'd love to get some T1/T2 nights in with everyone.

I just upgraded Hammer with a new computer, so he is rocking now also.

Please add me in Steam if you have not already. XMENICEMANDTM

Sharpster, I did not see your friend request. On steam I'm xmen_gambit or Gambit [DTM] (not sure as which you'd find me). What's your user id? Several Sharpsters on there.

Ok.. So how do I enable compatibility mode so I can use these iso's? 64bit Win doesn't like to play nice with 16 bit apps..
