Is there a free NEF codec for Vista 64 bit out there?

Non-'puter stuff. Photography, hot rods, or tropical fish for example

The question is in the title.. Went out Geocaching today, and tried shooting in RAW in hopes of being able to adjust the shots a bit better. turns out, Nikon doesn't have a 64 bit codec? and the one I did find was some Beta 5 version for $20. :/ Makes me wish I was on my XP desktop right now..

You didn't say which one you'd found. Here's a few free RAW editing/conversion programs:

http://www.rawtherapee.com/
http://ufraw.sourceforge.net/
http://www.wizards.de/rawdrop/ (batch converter only)

Also this is not what you asked for but I found it and thought I'd mention EasyHDR. There's a pro, trial, and old free version.
