You can fly like Tribes, and it has large open battlefields, they even have a speed booster for ground travel, a la skiing..

Hmm. I usually get really suspicious when folks start touting that some new game is a lot like Tribes. But it DOES sound that way. Then I got suspicious because the dude didn't even mention Tribes, but here he is describing all these Tribes-like features. Then the interviewer asked him about Tribes directly and he goes off saying the lead designer did shoutcasting and all.

Sounds good, but I dunno. Will wait and see, and hope, I guess.

I just found out about it. While I'm sure it's not going to be a clone. It does appear to have the key features. Although, I will miss pwning iTiman's HOF butt with a disc launcher MA. I should also mention, I will NOT miss Porche's laser rifle. (because back then, he was the only one with a 17 ping... bastard)
