You can't fix stupid...

Non-'puter stuff. Photography, hot rods, or tropical fish for example

Looks like you need to change your username to "Pyro."

Seriously this stuff is not recommended. You'll be great today, and great when you do it next, and so on, and then someday something goes a little bit awry and you're talking skin grafts or never using your hand again or something. Sometimes your nerves just don't react fast enough, even if you've got a bucket of water right there or whatever.

I know I probably sound like your mother. :) But it's true.

Having said that, wonder what it'd look like if you pasted a city skyline in there behind.

LOL, actually it was my own mother who was lighting me up!

There really is little danger for burns. I'm just using rubbing alcohol, which will only burn for 4-5 seconds max and seems to be quite a cool burn. The flames usually go out before I even get the camera lined up. Now, if I were using some kind of gel/jelly or oil, then I'd really be stupid. ;)

TBH, I get worse burns from attempts at cooking. :-P
p.s. I'm not saying, "go try this at home!"

I'm too tired tonight, but maybe tomorrow I'll try to get some sharper, cleaner, and more print worthy shots.

Anyway, safety first... unless there's money on the line.
