This one is after the nurses had their way with him for a few minutes. His first time he gets to see his dad.

It was awesome. When he came out, he just looked around at everyone and didn't say anything. My dad said I did the same thing when I came out.

Little Nathan Richard weighed 7 lbs 15 oz and was 20.75 inches long.

He's already smiled a few times, laughed a few times, and even stared at various things while looking like he's concentrating or trying to figure it out.

He looks at me though, and I'll tell you what... I'd do anything for him.

We've got a few videos of him just looking at me when I rocked him to sleep at 4 am. And a few shots of him just laying there sleeping or looking around. A a couple of shots of him and his first bath (sponge bath, of course).

So far it's good.

And I had a very good dad, so I need to be just as good for my little man.

(Now, I really feel like that bulldog in those cartoons with the little kitten.)

Congrats man. It seems just yesterday mine was born and he's 7 months now. It's amazing to see them grow. You can see a difference in just a day. Looks like a couple of very proud parents...hope it's still that way now that it's been a month of scarce sleep.
