Intel LAN-Fest online BFBC2 tourny

Post by XMEN Gambit »

So it's not exactly a LAN party, but I got this email today from the group that put on that party in Dallas a while ago. They did have great door prizes and it looks like they're handing out more. Anyway here it is.
---------------
LANFest Online BC2 Tournament

LANFest is kicking off our first online tournament! We want to give our LAN attendees something fun to do between events. We are kicking off a Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (PC) event, set to start on September 8th. Registration is free, and is open now.

This tournament will be done with the same philosophy as our LAN Parties. It is all about the fun! There will be good prizes for the winners and great prizes will also be randomly given to participating teams at the end of the event! So get your crew together. Desire required, skill optional! Register Here- http://lanfest.intel.com/?page=online_tournaments

About the Event

The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 event will pit two teams of four against each other using the Squad Rush game mode. The first stage of the tournament will be round robin, with the top two teams from each group advancing to a double elimination finals bracket. This format ensures all teams will get a fair chance to play, as well as ensuring the top teams advance accordingly. We hope you'll join us for the event. That sounds like fun. I would need to buy BFBC2, but fun just the same. :D
