Scorched Earth...

...3D! <a href="http://www.scorched3d.co.uk/">www.scorc ...  It has the same feel of the original, but in 3D. The graphics and sound effects are great, and it really brings back memories of playing this on my Apple IIc when I was a kid. It's free for download, and does have multiplayer capabilities. However for multiplayer you will need All Seeing Eye (gamespy type utility). I don't know if ASE has spyware or anything, I don't have it currently, but might have to get it to play multi.

Sweet, I have been watching <a href="http://www.scorchedearth3d.net/">this one</a>. Very cool. I absolutely loved scorched earth. Played it on my old Toshiba 386 laptop in monochrome colour against all my friends in grade school. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> Tem, I just tried the version that you've linked to. Looks pretty neat, but a few problems: I don't know how to adjust firing POWER (I can get rotation and elevation, though) and there seems to be a fairly significant memory leak in it, because I had to reboot when I was finished with it. It's a bit of a memory hog, but hey, it's freeware.
