Your tribe smells? I don't know but you may want to try some baby powder or deodorant spray. If a smelly tribe is accompanied by chafing or itchiness, wash the said tribe thoroughly, let air dry, and leave uncovered for at least 24 hours.<br><br>Oh, and heck ya you can play. <p><embed src="http://www.nickandsarah.com/tag.swf" quality=high pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/dow ... kwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400" height="150"> </embed> </p><i></i>

uh my server was not up....<br><br>BTW guys, I think the reason you couldn't find it was that I had it on story mode. You have to have Story mode selected on the upper left of the multi-player screen to see Story servers....<br><br>I am putting the server up now on Action mode....<br>give it a try guys, I won't be on until 9-930 or after...<br><br>laterz <p><embed src="http://www.nickandsarah.com/tag.swf" quality=high pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/dow ... kwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400" height="150"> </embed> </p><i></i>

lynxbat, some ideas. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br><br>I noticed in your first post that you gave your ip in the 192.xxx.xxx.xxx range. thats an internal ip. Do you by chance have a router? If you do you need to open up a range of ports or you won't show up in the in game browser.<br><br>Let me know if you need any other help gettin your server running or have any questions, I have setup 2 so far for LoS/SouP. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <p><table width="40%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0"> <tr> <td>-LoS-Malthus</td> </tr> <tr> <td><a href=http://www.lordsofsteel.com>Lords of Steel</a></td> </tr> <tr> <td><img src= "http://www.lordsofsteel.com/image_uploa ... .jpg"></td> </tr><tr><td>"Everyone can be taught to sculpt: Michelangelo would have had to be taught not to. Yeah, I found that out last night. I have 3 computers running on a wireless network and sharing a DSL connection. The computer I was on was using the shared connection from another computer. I don't have a router, but for some reason NwN won't reach through my shared connect and out to the net world. It would just start a local connect instead. I couldn't find any command line stuff that I could use to fix this. I resolved this by going to the computer that was sharing with everyone else, install a lite version, and starting a dedicated connection. Worked great after that...<br><br>I could use some advice though on running a server, mainly what are the commands you can use, where are Nwn server web sites with info, and how to log in as an admin or DM remotely in Nwn. After I got the server up, I couldn't log in as a DM, even with the DM pass...<br><br>If you can give some pointers to some cool info that would be awesome. BTW I am going over there to SouP and joining your SouP NwN server. Always more fun with more Peeps! <p><embed src="http://www.nickandsarah.com/tag.swf" quality=high pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/dow ... kwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400" height="150"> </embed> </p><i></i>

Heh. You have a router - it's just an overpowered one you call a PC. <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br><br> <p></p><i></i>

ok I was reading a faq on NwN and found out that I have to somehow foward ports on my shared connection to allow the server to show from THIS computer and not have to use my other one.....<br><br>I understand that a router would allow this in it's setup and/or software....but how would you do that on Windows 2000/XP? <p><embed src="http://www.nickandsarah.com/tag.swf" quality=high pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/dow ... kwaveFlash" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400" height="150"> </embed> </p><i></i>

If you're using the built in connection sharing, I have no idea. Never used it. If you are using Sygate or a similar prog, the instructions vary; search for "port forwarding" in the docs. <p></p><i></i>

This is the best info I have foundon running the server. It gives you the command line switchs you can run when you load the server and tells you how to edit your .ini file so you don't have to keep reseting each setting everytime.<br><br> <!--EZCODE AUTOLINK START--><a href="http://nwn.bioware.com/forums/myviewtop ... <!--EZCODE AUTOLINK END--> <br><br>Hope that helps get you started. <p><table width="40%" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0"> <tr> <td>-LoS-Malthus</td> </tr> <tr> <td><a href=http://www.lordsofsteel.com>Lords of Steel</a></td> </tr> <tr> <td><img src= "http://www.lordsofsteel.com/image_uploa ... .jpg"></td> </tr><tr><td>"Everyone can be taught to sculpt: Michelangelo would have had to be taught not to.
