It's like Total Annihilation, right?
I've heard lots of good things... and I'm thinking of getting it.
I'm going to look for it at Target (along with BF2, at the urging of my dad).
So... maybe I'll be playing it!

heh, BF2 wasn't up to my tastes... but I LOVE SupCom!
Yes, SC is the project of one of the guys from TA... and it definately has the same feel. The main difference is the change in scope. In TA, the map Seven Islands was HUGE and now it would be considered a medium sized SC map. Thanks to the ability to zoom out to see the entire map and in enough to see the details of the tiniest units makes micromanaging multiple bases across continents almost a simple task.
Now I have to go play again.

Yep, it is a power computer killer....my dual core 4200 sometimes bogs down for a second or two.
It is stunning and definitely feels like the old Total Annihilation. I am in love!!!
Get it off half.com for less than $22. WELL worth it!

yes ice... it sure does that... I am so used to running all my games at max graphics and SC makes it feel even older than it is!

I have it myself. We may have to arrange a match-up or two, Ice.

Crap Asha...sorry. I missed you. I played it 3 times this weekend.
I also had to work Saturday from 3pm to 11pm moving computers off an old NT domain to our new domain. Then I worked yesterday wiring up a network at a Printing shop for a client of mine. VERY busy weekend.
Maybe we can do a three way match sometime?

Or perhaps a comp-stomp if we feel like being helpful to each other?
I'd be all for a weekend set-up.

I would be up for anything, really. I played a bit on Saturday night and, after some issues trying to install it, it worked flawlessly.
My comp seems to handle it well.
I haven't patched yet though. Should I go ahead and patch up? I've heard complaints about the patches screwing things up.

Patch away. There's a couple three new units, plus performance upgrades and bugfixes. I just patch via the GPG.net program, handles it all for me.
