Memory limit...

Post by FaLLGuY »

I have Windows Me and it's limit is 512mb of memory. What is the limit on Windows XP? I'm going to have 1024mb of DDR333 soon.
<img src="http://homepage.ntlworld.com/planetburt ...

I checked it out and found out that Windows Me sucks when it comes to adding lots of memory. 512mb is it's limit talk about dumb. So I thinks I'm going to upgrade to Windows XP Home addition.
<img src="http://homepage.ntlworld.com/planetburt ...

I don't know the limit on Win XP for RAM, but it's not a GB.. It's quite a bit more, methinks. I have 1GB, and it's nice....

I HATE EZBOARD!!!

I don't believe that you will have any problems with the memory...I think that it is in like the 1024GB range.

not allowed

XMEN Iceman [DTM]
Founder and Leader of the Base Tribes XMEN Clan
Proud member of the Dragon Talon Mercenaries teamplayers Guild
Member of THZ - The Hounds of Zeus clan

"Seeker of the Truth and Love of God

- click on avatar for links - no, not sausage links!

Limit is 4GB of physical RAM. Files on the other hand, can be as large as 2 TB, that's terabytes. You'll need a hell of a disk array to make a file that big, though.
