Unhandled Execption: C00000005 ??!?!

Post by SHAKES »

Unhandled Execption: C000000005
At Address: 0000000000

This is what the error message looks like. I'm not really sure how many zeros there are exactly, but this is pretty much it. I have the latests patch for Tribes, and I have DirectX9.0. I have windows XP, and a cable modem. After this error message comes up, my system sounds (clicking, bleeping) in the speakers echo. It's very strange. After I close the error message, XP asks me to send an error report. The error report has something to do with a "Tribes 2 MFC Launcher Application". I'm not really sure what I have to do...maybe someone has an idea?

-SHAKES

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub141.ezboard.com/bxmenclan.sho ... >SHAKES at: 3/9/03 10:55:52 am

Hmmm I think that is the one I was getting for a while I think it was a video issue. If I remmeber correctly I either updated my video driver or had to run the T2 firstaid to fix it...Also may want to do the above and if no good try a freash install of T2..
<img src="http://www.xmenclan.org/avatars/hammer_ ...
Proud Member of the XMEN Clan
Proud Member of the Dragon Talon Mercenaries
If you run, you will only die tired.

Don't forget to check for spyware - it's responsible for a lot of Tribes UE messages. Around here we like AdAware from lavasoft.

XMEN member
Card-carrying DTM
OKL Fish-napper

Though a program be but three lines long, someday it will have to be maintained.
The Tao of Programming
