Thinking about going wireless for my son's computer.

Any advice for a good router?

I got a D-link DIR 655 and it works great.

Mine is mounted vertically though.

Oh and be sure to turn on WPA, not WEP. WEP is incredibly insecure.

Rename your router and change the password so that some one driving by with a laptop cant get into your system easy. Also its good to turn off the broadcast id after you get the network all setup.

I've got a Linksys Wireless G router, been rock solid for me for several years. BEFSR45-G i think the model is.

And be sure that you turn down the power level if you can.
