1. I do not have any old video cards around here anymore. I sold them.<br><br>2. I believe it is a video issue, because I went from using my Hercules sound to the Onboard sound (Hercules disabled) with the exact same results. All drivers I've tried give me the same damned results.<br><br>3. I am getting even more angry by the day. I do not want to play tribes this way, because it sucks. I upgraded my system to better play tribes and other new games coming out. I wanted something fast, smooth and pretty. The system is fast and pretty, but not smooth. I backed up my more important data today, and I may try an fdisk and reinstall of win XP.<br><br>I did some more checking of IRQ's and the USB Universal Host controllers are trying to share IRQ's with the VId and NIC. So I disabled the Host controller for the one trying to share the same IRQ as the Vid. Same result. There's a LOT of stuff that happens when you swap a mobo.<br><br>Let's see, third time - have you tried setting your video display to plain-vanilla SVGA mode? If it really is a video issue, this would prove your point that it has something to do with the video card if it didn't stutter.
