Another IRC question

I tried sending a file to someone last night via DCC but it kept failing to connect. I <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><i> think</i><!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> that I have all of my DCC options set correctly, but I'm not sure. It is POSSIBLE that DCC could be having problems going through your router. When I try and send a file via DCC, I have to enable the DMZ host on my router for my IP. Note that if you turn on the DMZ options, your computer is WIDE OPEN to the internet. I never said I enabled the DMZ host all the time. I leave my console open while I upload a file for DCC, then it gets disabled again. Port Forwarding on my router doesn't seem to work for me, so I don't mess with it.
