I had a weird dream/thought last night. It was basically about creating "Tribes, the musical" So I have been thinking this morning/afternoon... could it be done is there really stuff to do a musical based on the Tribes universe, and more importantly if so, what would it focus around.<br><br>I have come up with some ideas as to what it could be about <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <br><br>1) A blood eagle warrior and a Diamond sword warrior fall in love with each other as their two tribes attack each other (or substuite whatever tribes hate each other for BE and DS)<br><br>2) All four tribes of man band together to erridicate the bioderms. (although it would be tougher to do a musical on this, less to sing about I think <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> )<br><br>3) The story of a young boy growing up, wishing to be a warrior, only to discover the ugly truth about war.<br><br>So what do you think, or do you havean idea you think might work better as a musical? Or do you think the whole idea is stupid? <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :) --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> <p></p><i></i>

#1 and #3 people can relate to.<br><br>#2 would be sort of counter to the tribes universe rules.<br><br><br>#3 I can see working better as a musical. But if you want to appeal to a larger audience, #1 would probably be better. Though the story is almost a cliche. You have to worry about that.<br><br>I don't know about a musical though. It would be interesting to hear some musical scores associated with the tribes of man.<br><br> <p></p><i></i>

Even cliches, if done well, can be appreciated. "West Side Story," for example, is really just Romeo and Juliet. I believe "Underworld" is, too, but let's not go there... <p></p><i></i>
