Meanwhile, stranded on the Canary Islands no the planet of Mizah, RudeJelly and Porsche look at each other trying to figure out how their engines had gotten fouled with fish shaped doughnuts and cookies.

Porsche: It looks like sabotage to me. I mean, doughnuts and cookies are not normally found in an engine, right?
RudeJelly: *kicks Porsche in the shins* NO, THEY'RE NOT!! I told you to check these things out before we took off, but noooooo, you had to worry about running to the gas station to buy these stupid fuzzy dice things for the rear-view mirror.
Porsche: OUCH! *Moe pokes RudeJelly in the eyes* It's not ALL my fault. I was the one who spotted Damage.enD and DangerMouse lurking about. I asked you to go see what they wanted and to run them off if necessary, but noooooooo - you had to stay inside making your stupid jelly sandwiches. This was obviously a coordinated effort by enDless and LoS
RudeJelly: *whimpering and covering his eyes* Alright, then. We're both at fault. What do we do now? What do we tell the others?

....

XMENPorsche[DTM]
Leader of the XMEN
Member - Dragon Talon Mercenaries
Proud Member of the Blood Eagle Mini League
Citizen of New Fenecia
Hurler of Trouts

"You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take." - Wayne Gretzky
Edited by <A HREF=http://pub3.ezboard.com/uxmenporsche.sh ... e at: 4/7/00 10:45:48 am

Gambit rubbed sleep from his eyes and emerged into the daylight behind Scorch. He ignored the teammates making fools of themselves on the wing of the craft; in fact he seemed to be concentrating on opening a can of sardines.

"You need a hand with that?" Scorch helpfully asked.

"Nah, almost - Got it! Drat, cut my finger on the lid. Hmmph. Breakfast time." Gambit popped a mustard-covered sardine into his mouth, then started looking around, chewing happily. Finally he seemed to take in the situation: the canted deck, the seascape, the smell of spoiling trout and tortured machinery, the two stooges, and Scorch's own somber mood.

"Hey, this isn't-- You broke the ship! Do you have any idea how much these things cost? How are we supposed to show a profit when you don't take care of the equipment! And THEN there's the cargo. You realize it's probably ruined by now, don't you? That means the whole trip is a net loss!"

Scorch let the tirade run on as he continued to scan for signs of life, technology, or a Mr. Smiley's garage. He completed his assesment as Gambit was reciting from the murky depths of Accountantbabble, and cooly cut off the flow of words by holding out his thermos.

"Here," he said. "Have some coffee. I know how you get cranky before your first cup."

"Gee, thanks!" replied Gambit. He slurped at the coffee and continued his self-interrupted consumption of piscene mustard sauce in near-silence. "mmm...Breakfast!"

***Porsche edit -- ROFL @ "two stooges"!***
XMEN member
DTM Applicant
OKL Fish-napper

Poker, anyone?
Edited by <A HREF=http://pub3.ezboard.com/uxmenporsche.sh ... e at: 4/7/00 1:18:11 pm

Ambush snapped awake, although nobody noticed it since mantises don't blink. Carefully getting up, he tried his best to not breathe in too much.

"Great Hive Queen, what a stink!" Waving his arms, he clomped outside to join the others. The fresh air invigorated him, driving the horrible smell of rotting trout from his olfactories.

"Morning, Bug," said Porsche as he carefully rubbed his shins.

"What's going on? Did we get pulled over or something?"

"No, we got grounded by cookies and doughnuts in the engines." replied RudeJelly. "Gonna take forever to clean out and get us up and running."

"I know it sounds stupid, but how do cookies and doughnuts get into a high-performance trout-delivering engine like ours?" asked Ambush, crossing his arms.

"It was the LoS and the enDless, I'm sure of it!" cried Porsche. "I spotted a couple of them hanging around the ship right before takeoff!"

"Much good that will do us now, boss," replied Ambush. "I'm gonna get started on the engine if you guys don't mind, though the smell is probably going to knock me out." Carefully, Ambush pulled a pair of tube socks with packets of cedar chips stapled to them and proceeded to slip said socks over his antennae. "Ahhh, much better. Not having a nose is so helpful sometimes."

Unbuckling his energy swords, Ambush scuttled underneath the transport and began to work on the engines, cleaning out each doughnut as he saw it.

"Hey, these are TAPIOCA doughnuts! on with the story

(just had to drag this up. I laughed as I read it again)

Three and a half years after they initially crash landed, the crew of the Hammerhead finally had cleared out all the cookies and Tapioca doughnuts from the engines.

Life had been hard for the crew these long three years, so hard and terrible that I can not even describe what they endured. Everybody smelled like 3 year old trout, and they couldn't wait to get revenge on those who had sabotaged their ship.

Scorch sat at the sensor controls of the ship, Porsche was the only other one on the bridge now, everybody else was sleeping.

Scorch turned and said to Porsche, " I know what they did to us was cruel, stuffing our engines with tapioca doughnuts and all, but I still don't like your plan for revenge."

Porsche turned from the command screen and said "Whats wrong with it?"

"Well first of all dropping 20 tons of three year old trout on their main base is inhumane, they might deserve it, but its still very cruel, Second all that cargo is weighing us down and we'll have a diffucult time manuvering."

Porsche replied "Scorch, yes its cruel, but so is trapping people on a planet with rotting fish for three and a half years, second of all we are just completing the delivery as thats where the fish was originally bound anyways. you know we XMEN always deliver."

"I guess so... "

Just then the bridge door slid open and in stepped...

...Ambush Bug. They could tell something was wrong.

"OMG, Bug, you're as white as a sheet and your antennae are quivering, wassup?" asked Scorch, who could only wonder what the "Bug" got into this time.

"I was test firing the engines" Bug replied, "and grabbed these tanks from my supply to recharge the ingnitors..." Bug stopped speaking and you could have sworn he took a breath to calm down, but you couldn't tell with his stone cold facial expression. 'Thank Harebec he can't express himself' thought Scorch as he knew the bug would have had the look of death on his face.

"I inserted the charge nozzle, but when I turned the valve, a familiar sickness fell over me. It wasn't until I read this" he showed the bottle to Porsche and Scorch. On the side was a 'Ignitor fluid" label, half peeled back, revealing the word "ECTISIDE". Scorches jaw dropped.

"Are you ok???!!!" they both asked in unison. "I think so" reply Ambush, now a bit calmer. All of a sudden, the bottle slipped from Porsche's hand, scraping the paint off the bottom. What once revealed "NOS Delivery" now showed a "L" below the half-scraped away N in "NOS."

"Those .....

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub141.ezboard.com/bxmenclan.sho ... >Cgynus at: 10/22/03 1:52 pm
