I guess I should have been more specific.. T2 and later runs fine.. The Starsiege / Tribes Iso only loads Starsiege, and doesn't accept mouse input, and the earlier games won't even mount in Windows 10.. I was having some internet issues before, so I might try to download them again, see what's happening.

I've got a win 10 box currently running a dedicated 7 Days to Die server. I think it has room on it for a tribes 1 server too :P I'll troubleshoot why issues I can and post. All my boxes are win 10.

Well, it would be. Except HiRez didnt upload Starsiege: Universe. They uploaded Starsiege.

Cant start a tribes server without a proper iso.

*edit*
The full version of the game was released on CNET some time ago. I was able to download that.
Its version 1.8. Latest official is 1.11
The 1.8 to 1.11 patch is a 16-bit application. My host is a 64 bit Windows 10 box. I'm gonna have to turn on Hyper-V, install an XP virtual machine, and use that to patch the damned game!
After that, I can get a server up.

OK update.

I had an XP VM at work. I moved my tribes files over to it, ran the patch, putting the files back on my Win 10 box now. I'm going to stick the 1.11 officially patched Tribes 1 into a 7z archive and stick it on google drive, and the installer and patches I used into a separate one for safekeeping.

I should have a dedicated server up and running soon of at least the base game.

Well, I got it running the latest official release: 1.11
Its talking to the master servers listed here:
http://www.tribalwar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=680194

You wont be able to connect yet. Need to fiddle with my firewall and get some ports open/forwarded.
Will figure out insomniax! soon after I figure out how to configure base. :D

Suggestion: If you set up the server in a VM, make a copy of the VM drive file once you have base working and archive that sucker. Might be worth sharing, even.

I've already archived the game folder itself, which is all you need to run it on any 32-bit compatible windows system. It is running on Win-10 64 bit now. I can connect and play, but I'm having some issues with my firewall because its provided by Comcast to my office. Once I get the proper ports forwarded, you can have at it.

OK. If you dont know where to get a proper Tribes 1 install at this point, download it here:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B98fcf ... sp=sharing

Its fully up to date, but for the love of all that is holy virus scan it in case you get a virus in 2 days you cant say it was me :P

Anyone should be able to connect to it at this point. Someone go test it for me. Its called Mage's Tower -- Base -- 1.11 in the server list.
If you cant find it, the IP is 75.148.225.190:28001

Superadmin password is BlueC00k13 if ya'll want to jack with anything. Feel free to vote yourself regular admin if you're on.
