T:V or not to T:V

Come in! Have a margarita or root beer? How about some fresh trout? :)

T:V or not to T:V

Post by lynxbat »

Looks like me going to the MLAN is definately for sure now. I have my clutch and flywheel coming in thursday and I am dropping the tranny and installing it Fri, and Sat. So as long as everything bolts into place I am going to be there. But, I was wondering if I should buy T:V for the LAN? Or what games will be played the most in general. I haven't bought a game for the PC in a LONG time (those who know me will think this funny) and I don't want to be left out of any instense fragging when I get there.

What do you guy think?

Oh, and Ice & G-man is it ok if I can pay you guys the LAN fee in cash and in person?

Edited by: <A HREF=http://p090.ezboard.com/bxmenclan.showU ... t at: 10/6/04 6:15 am

Paying a the door is just fine bud.

To tell you the truth I think we ought to play some BF 1942, Tribes 2, Starcraft, C&C Generals, etc. There are no new games that really grab me right now.

<embed align=left src=http://www.thzclan.com/avatars/ezice.swf menu=false quality=high bgcolor=#000000 width=217 height=166 type=application/x-shockwave-flash pluginspage=http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/dow ...

XMEN Iceman [DTM]
Founder and Leader of the Base Tribes XMEN Clan
Proud member of the Dragon Talon Mercenaries teamplayers Guild
Citizen of New Fenecia

You weren't much of a challenge - T2 bot after killing Iceman

- click on avatar for links - no, not sausage links!

There are a lot of nice new games out, but I'm not sure which ones will be grabbing the most interest. I'm sure we'll be playing some T:V, and I plan to pick mine up before the LAN. As far as anything else, I'm just going to wing it. There are, after all, a Fry's and CompUSA very nearby and other stores within reach.

Glad you're gonna make it!! w00t! Speaking of B-man, I need to call him right now. I am going to crash at his pad. I may bring my wife and kid and kid(oh yeah were are expecting our second one now) up there to visit B-man family and hang out in D-town for the weekend.

I would like to play some old stuff too. I will see if I can bring some demo games up from my collection. I don't have BF1942 anymore(lost my CD) so I may need to get that.
