Last I researched 'em, that'll involve a pre-exam laxative-type of medicine to clean you out a bit, no eating for 12 hours before, and some kind of local anesthetic before they actually go in. The only advice I can offer is to request... nay, <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--><em>demand</em><!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> that they hook up a second monitor so you can watch what the scope sees as well as the doctor. It ain't every day you get to see what's inside of you there.<br><br>---<br><br>As for my end of things, well, since last August, I've quit my job with That Company That Was Driving Me Insane down in Carbondale, I got married to a wonderful lady, and I've moved up to Rochester, MN with her. She's got a job with Mayo, I'm in the process of looking for one. And as an added bonus, I have no officially joined the ranks of you 'old farts', as the docs at Mayo discovered that I've got a heart murmur. It's not serious, but it was a great incentive to start eating right and exercising, which both Mrs. Bug and I have done.<br><br>I can't remember exactly how long you've been gone, so just for clarification, Mrs. Bug != Zephwynn. <p></p><i></i>
