The single mono speaker doesn't sound bad, but plug in some stereo headphones, and you really notice a difference.<br><br>It's pretty quick, and the bundled apps are very useful. I just wish they had chosen a different media player than than realOne... I got an iPaq (3700 I think) more than two years ago... great toy! Maybe some day I'll find a use for it (other than as my 'solitaire machine'). Oh, and since I'm running WinCE I get media player! (however, the version it came with would not play mp3s or videos <!--EZCODE EMOTICON START :( --><img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/frown.gif ALT=":("><!--EZCODE EMOTICON END--> but that has been fixed)<br><br>I also got:<br>full handwriting recognition... after a while it learned to read my sloppy hand writing! So I can use the whole screen.<br>MS Pocket Word<br>MS Pocket Excel<br>MS Reader<br>MSN Messenger<br>MS Internet Explorer<br>and a scheduler, email client, contact manager, notepad, and some other things.<br><br>I have an ARM processor @ 133 MHz<br>240x320x24 display<br>64 MB RAM<br>32 MB ROM<br>IR and USB (I used the IR to turn it into a TV remote :P)<br><br>It set me back $400 and when I got it it was the mid-priced model. These hand helds are great aren't they? I've been using mine quite a bit, actually. The contact list is nice, but I use it to keep track of my spending, and set assignment dates in the calendar, and figure some calcuations while at work for fuel loads, etc.<br><br>BTW- anyone know how to program for the Palm OS?
