What's this look like? (new Mitsu Eclipse)

Come in! Have a margarita or root beer? How about some fresh trout? :)

What do you mean by "beat"? Are we talking stock cars as they came from the dealer? And what about driving skill? Drag race or slalom? Or better yet, track?
<img src="http://www.camerasupport.com/oV/mavsigr ...

he most likely means stock on a drag course. I believe there were factory twin turbo 300z's.

oh and I also want one of THESE before I die. An 1,100lb car that I can put a 240HP 2.0L in makes for a quick little car.
COLORS!
Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub141.ezboard.com/bxmenclan.sho ... ckRider at: 1/26/04 11:29 am

I thas an aftermarket boost guage, turbo timer, custom 2.5 in. exhaust, apetik intake, and turbo timer. As well as a lot of parts that have been replaced. The guy that is selling it to me was going to fix it up nice and stable before he added too much HP. Now he has to buy a house and I am getting it for a really good price. I plan on adding an ECU and Boost Control then going about 14-15psi. That would give me between 410-440hp.

That video is by Top Gear the UK television show. Here is a link I found to the vid.

www.nissanzx.pwp.blueyond...ldvNew.wmv *Right click and save as*

Got some other cool races in there too. And both cars ae stock.

The replica actually fits a 6'4" 250lb American! You do have to slide in, though, and getting out isn't discussed much.

There actually is a Superformance dealership nearby and I've seen their S1s (Super Seven remake) and their Mk IIIs (cobras) first hand. They seem to be of decent quality for being mostly fiberglass.

I was beginning to think that I was the only one who didn't think a 7 was ugly. :P
COLORS!

I went out to the local Superformance dealer today for a looksie. The Superformance Coupe is awsome ($65,000 + drive-rain is out of my reach though)! The MkIII was ok... but $35k + drive-rain is still out of reach. Then I saw just what I was looking for... the Superformance S1 roadster! The 2.0L Ford Zetech (recommended engine, fits w/ no mods) fills the whole engine bay and 160bHP on something literally the size of a go-kart is borderline dangerous! They let me behind the wheel and, let me tell you, getting in the thing is an experience in and of itself! You have to more or less sit on the headrest, put your legs in the foot well, and then just slide in. Getting in this thing can best be described as "like putting on a shoe." The foot well is just as wide as the three adjustable pedals and there is no dead-pedal... while cruising I guess the left foot goes under the clutch. I must get one! All I need is $5k up front, $10k when complete at factory (3-4 mo), and the final $8k on delivery. Then there's whatever I need for the eng + trans. Now I just need a clever money making scheme... mwuahahaha... oh, sorry. Needless to say, I MUST GET ONE! (made me feel like a little kid again at the dealer today)

Another interesting thing they were selling was a Noble M12 GTO (minus drive-train, it's in the $80k range)

*edit* M12 is $54k + eng & trans
COLORS!
Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub141.ezboard.com/bxmenclan.sho ... ckRider at: 1/27/04 9:20 pm
