Hey, Ice, mind if I try that DDR Ram out it my rig? I want to see how much difference SDR vs DDR makes. I'll buy it, too, if I like the results.

It is a 7200 rpm drive with a 2mb buffer. I know you want that 8mb monster, but this is what I have. It is still a very decent drive. It is just a few months old.

Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub141.ezboard.com/bxmenclan.sho ... ceman>XMEN Iceman at: 1/27/04 12:39 pm

Sorry Ice, my friend decided to go with a new build. Looks like your stuff is getting snatched up pretty quick though, so no big deal

The world will not end in a blinding flash of light or virulent pestilence. I'm just curious, that's all. I need a 2nd drive for storage of files, etc. lots of images that I have on CD I want on Hard Disk too, and I don't want to lose EVERYTHING on my machine, so I need somewhere to move the files to.

"Never, Never, Never Quit" -Winston Churchill

When Ice is done, I have a 'puter for sale. Haven't really thought about what it's worth yet. What I can say is that I'm reluctant to let it go because it's the best-performing, most stable 'puter I've ever owned. I just don't use it anymore. Here's the specs:

Processor: AMD Thunderbird 1.33 ghz 266 fsb
Motherboard: Abit KT7A-RAID
Memory: 512 mb Corsair PC-150 CAS2 (2x256)
Hard Drives: Two Western Digital Caviar 40 gb 7200 rpm (Running Raid 0 Array, 80gb Total)
Video: Hercules Prophet II GTS 32mb GeForce 2
Sound: Creative Labs Live! Value
CD-Rom: Kenwood True-X 72x
CD-RW: Sony 12x8x32
Removable Storage: Teac 1.44" Floppy
Network: Netgear 10 / 100 NIC
Case: Mid Tower
Power Supply: Enermax EG465P-VE dual fan 465-Watt (I may have changed that, I'll have to look inside).
<img src="http://www.camerasupport.com/oV/mavsigr ...

Hopefully I will have it by Saturday. I can actually start tearing the old system apart.
