Yeah. Something well written, and decent for NASA for once.. Now if the FAA could get some lovin, that'd be great. I just can't see how $50 million for FY 2004 and $200 Million for FY 2005 makes sense as far as the years go.. Unless FY 2004 is to be a planning and development period?

"Never, Never, Never Quit" -Winston Churchill

Probably. I don't know how NASA plans to do things.

I think their budget should be tripled though. They do a LOT more than the space shuttle and a couple of satellites. People tend to forget that NASA and it's precursor, NACA, were the ones that did a TON of stuff for development of wings and propulsion systems, as well as materials science.

They still do that kind of stuff I thought? NASA is one of those organizations that made it possible to have and do a lot of the things we have/do now. The only problem with the government agencies tho, is when their budget gets bigger, the staff always gets bigger too. And that's money that can be put into projects and research.

"Never, Never, Never Quit" -Winston Churchill

Thus the reason for tripling their budget.

<quote>(4) Within 20 years after the date of enactment of this Act, the development and flight demonstration of a reusable space vehicle capable of carrying humans from low Earth orbit to and from Martian orbit, the development and deployment of a human-tended habitation and research facility on the surface of one of the moons of Mars, and the development and flight demonstration of a reusable space vehicle capable of carrying humans from Martian orbit to the surface of Mars and back. </quote>

Looks like my dream job will be there when I am ready if this bill passes. It will be alot of fun to travel from Earth to another planet and back as a crew memeber of a Spaceship. It will also be a lot of fun help setting up the first Human outposts beyond Lunar orbit. So please, everyone, get your Represenatives and later your Senaters to support this Bill.
