Ok here is the scoop. I have someone that said they were willing to buy me a computer to MY specs and pay for it. Now they told me that I need to give them a list of what I want in it and they would have it built for me and pay for it. Now my question is this. What the hell do I want in it? If you guys could list what you would want to see in a computer for you that would help. The problem for me is I need specific types of hardware. Model numbers etc... Any help on this would be really appreiciated.

Why don't we start with "What are you going to use it for?" <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/smile.gif ALT=":)"> I'd assume you want to play games on it. So do you want the bestest, baddest vidcard and such to build the gaming rig of your dreams, or what? Do you want an Athlon 64-bit processor? Also realize that it is entirely possible to build a $50,000 PC. It'd be useful to have some sort of reasonable budget, lest we dream big and impoverish your benefactor. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/happy.gif ALT=":D">

Good point Gambit... 5gs max maybe... perferably less but about that area. Yes gaming is priority on it. I will probably convert my other pc to entirely do my TsN casting so that wont be an issue. Yes, top vid car, top mobo, best and most ram possible. 2gigs? All I can say is go with the most stable Mobo you can find, not the one rated best for overclocking. Also go with very good ram, such as Corsair. Do not buy an OEM CPU, buy retail. Get a top-notch PSU like an Enermax dual fan model. For $5K there should be no problem whatsoever with building a fast yet stable machine. <img src="http://www.camerasupport.com/oV/mavsigr ...
