Sounds a lot like Freelancer but with more room for personalization of ships and careers. What you have said has got me interested. What else is there to the game? How does it play and what kind of equipment and ships can you get?

Glad to hear that your wife got no life threatening injuries. I hope the insurence company just has the back end rebuilt or repliced since, from the pictures, the main cabin and engine compartments are in good condition. If there is structual damage beyond the back seat and into the cabin structure ...

I have downloaded the latest DirectX drivers and ended having to turn the sound off to get the game running great. Been having fun blowing the Cybrids legs off in a little HERC. I will look into installing X-com this weekend.

I am not using the DOSbox but rather used Ice's suggestion of installing it directly into windows and using the built in emulator. By what I have found on it, most people who have done it this way have no problems but there are a few exceptions but they didn't post what they did, if they did, to fix...

I have installed Earthseige 2 and can play it in the tutorial mode but not in story mode. When I start a mission in the campain it acts like the system is busy, lagging, moving a frame every few seconds but my system has hardly any use. Ice, have you had this problem with any DOS games?

This has now become a standalone game because of limitation of the engine used on T:V. They have been given an updated engine that was used on Tribes2. Along with that was two people to help them transfer the code over. This also grants them the ability to up the multiplayer to 64, instead of 32, an...

I hope they didn't copy that glitch at the end that prevented you, if you completed a certain mission, from finishing the game ever. I am going to forward the link to my brother who loves this games to death, and still has the original disks some where.

Wow, these forums have moved and changed since the last time I was here.

I will give your, Iceman, suggestion a try the next time I get the chance. If that doesn't work I will try the DOS emulator. The last ditch thing I can do is reinstall my second computer with Win98.
