Well, results are in, 10th place, which I feel is pretty good for a first entry.

I only know 2 things about sailboats.

1. Take along lifejackets for all on board.

2. A boat is a hole in the water surrounded by wood into which you pour money.

That said, good luck, and I'm sure you'll enjoy your boat.
