Very very cool. One of these days I'm going to have to spend some time trying to shoot drops. The first one could use a tad bump in saturation.

*There are a few spoilers in here* Yeah, the Quorum thing caught me off guard. Do they elect a new Quorum now, or just move on with Rosilyn as the president of the Colonies (kind of a dictatorship thing)? I was glad to see Adama back in command of Galactica. I knew they couldn't off him.... or Tighe...

First of all, what was said about Tighe? I must have missed it. I don't think Adama will be killed. To be honest, I just don't see how that can happen. I may be wrong. I agree with a major character getting killed off soon, but I think it will be either Gaeta, Zarek, or both. I think we'll soon see ...

BSG - 1/30/09

WOW! That's all I can say.

Someone needs to shoot Gaeta.

Scenes from next week seem VERY interesting.

I don't think Zarek's going to live much longer.

Things seem to be spinning out of control. Wonder how our Cylon brethren will respond to recent happenings.

Earth was a Cylon colony?

Funny.... I don't feel like a Cylon.

Actually, it was done in my garage. I just pulled both cars out, cleaned the floor, and set up the background and lights. From a money standpoint, it's taken me a couple of years to get all of that stuff. Background stands - $100 9' wide, 25' long white seamless background paper - $40 Nikon SB-800 f...

Mmmmm.... grapes!

Set up a studio in my garage the other night and played around with some concepts that have been running through my mind. This one was kind of fun.... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/n312/xmenporsche/Portraits/_WES4935copy-web1.jpg Here's the lighting setup.... http://i115.photobucket.com/albums/...

Wow, BR - you're really getting good! Lots of nice work here. Of course, I'm jealous of your being able to shoot from the sidelines. What lens did you use?

I like the first two, but like Gambino said, they need some color tweaking to deepen the saturation. On the second one I would probably try a tighter crop to eliminate the tree and sky. Without those elements I think it would be a pretty cool abstract shot.

"Posterized"? Not sure what you mean. The image is pretty much straight from the camera except for a VERY slight bump in saturation, RAW - JPEG conversion, and resize.

Motocross shooting last night

My favorite local MX track had some races last night. I think it's the first time that I've been back out there since my hospital stay in March. I felt pretty rusty and this was about the best I could do. It was VERY dry and dusty out there last night. I intentionally waited for this shot because I ...

Not too lazy. I didn't shoot in RAW back then.

However, Bibble allows me to see the EXIF.

Program = shutter priority
Metering = evaluative
Exposuer time = 4 seconds
F stop = 7.1
Focal length = 27mm

/me kicks Gambit in the aperture.
